Zekiye G\u00fcr\u00fcn-\u00dc\u00e7em is a PhD Fellow and Member of the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC) at Justus-Liebig-Universit\u00e4t Gie\u00dfen, a Research Assistant at Leuphana Universit\u00e4t L\u00fcneburg, and a PhD Scholar of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. Her research focuses on migration, citizenship, and integration policies in Germany, with particular emphasis on T\u00fcrkiye\u2013Germany mobility and transnational governance. Holding a Master\u2019s degree in Public Economics, Law, and Politics from Leuphana Universit\u00e4t L\u00fcneburg as a Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholar, her academic work has examined the evolution and liberalisation of German citizenship law, analysing how demographic change, political dynamics, and international norms have shaped contemporary debates on belonging and inclusion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
