Nikolaos Markovitis

Nikolaos Markovitis is a postgraduate student in International Relations at Kadir Has University and the Istanbul correspondent for Alpha TV and Hellenic DNA. He holds a BA in Political Science from Democritus University of Thrace and previously coordinated Erasmus+ projects for the Katerini Youth Network. He interned at the Greek Consulate in Istanbul and writes for HuffPost Greece. His research focuses on China–Türkiye economic security relations, and he is part of the Middle East team at the Institute of International Relations (IDIS). He speaks English, French, Turkish, Mandarin Chinese and is learning Japanese.
